It was clean, well supplied and the hot tub was great.
We recently rented the Mt. Columbia Chalet for our family of 8's stay during a family reunion and loved it. It was clean, well supplied and the hot tub was great. The only negative was that it was located next to the road and there is a lot of traffic noise when we had the windows and doors open. But it wasn't a problem at night with everything closed up. We would definitely consider staying there in the future.
We are so happy that you enjoyed spending time with your family at the chalets. The hot tub is always a great vacation bonus! We would love for your family to come back again and enjoy the property!
Thanks for a great stay !!!
This is to tell you how much my family enjoyed our stay at Creekside this past week. As always, the rooms and cabin were clean. The facility is close enough for us to plan trips anywhere. We visited Denver this time and other places. Thanks for a great stay !!!
Thank you so much for letting us know how much your family enjoyed the chalets this past week. It was a pleasure to meet you and thanks for being such lovely guests. We hope you come back for more wonderful times together at Creekside!
Cabins are very roomy and clean
Beautiful area and the cabins are very roomy and clean. We will definitely be back!
We are happy that you enjoyed the property and the layout of the chalet. We look forward to being your home base for more great times and adventures.
Loved it ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place
Great! We are so happy you had a good time! Hope to see you again for more adventures and good times!
Nice location for cycling and hiking
4.5 rating.Nice location for cycling and hiking. Close to gravel roads, great climbs, and Salida. ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Pluses: clean, well maintained, relatively secluded, but right on the highway. Hot Tub was great, nice gas fireplace, generally well-stocked kitchen with pots pans cookware, plates, etc. two showers worked well. Minuses: WiFi slow. Also, Usually in rentals, the kitchen has a few misc things like coffee creamer, sugar, cooking oil, spices, etc. not critical, but would have been nice to have some of that stuff. I realize that this needs to be balanced against inviting bugs. This place was clean with no bugs or anything else. Location was great for gravel bike riding. Great climbs (Monarch Pass), close to MTB trails in Salida, and close to St Elmo.
Thank you for sharing your experience and accurately reviewing the chalet and property. We would love to see some pictures from your rides, it looked liked you guys put in some miles around the valley! Thanks for being such great guests! Hope to be a part of more of your Colorado adventures.
Very Dog Friendly
Great place to stay in and would highly recommend. The house was clean and appealing. It’s very dog friendly which was a huge bonus. Only issue was very slow WiFi but we made it work but we also had 9 people so I’m sure that wasn’t helping.
We are happy all your friends and pup had a great time! The WiFi is a challenge in the mountains but glad it didn't slow you down too much! Glad it was a wonderful vacation!
Can't wait to stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay with you. The accommodations were great. Our party had a total of three cabins and everyone is already talking about staying with you again.
We enjoyed having your group stay at the property and thrilled you had a great time! Can't wait to have you back again and thanks for taking such wonderful care of our units. We appreciate your business and hope to see you soon!
Very nice accommodations. Fit our family perfectly. 7 adults and 2 children.
Very nice cabin. Fit our family very well. Everything was just what we needed. The hot tub was very nice combined with the night chill and a million stars overhead. Cabin accommodated 3 families. For the price of a nearby hotel room times three families, this was a bargain. You can't go wrong with Scanga Meats. The Hub Brewery was lots of fun. Oh, and Amicas Pizza was the best. We fished nearby streams and lakes and did very well, for early April. As the seasons change we'll be back.
We hope you come back and visit again in the summer or fall, the leaves are gorgeous at the property! Sounds like the chalet & scenery was a great fit for your families and you enjoyed a lot of the great restaurants and breweries in the area! We are so happy it was a lovely trip! Edit your Response
Love the place!
Great location, great space. We've stayed in a few different cabins, Mt Columbia is great for larger groups. Private hot tub at all the cabins and pet friendly. Beds are so comfy! The new owners seem great and is much easier to make reservations then before. Love this place anytime of year and it's beautiful in the fall.
We are happy you like the new beds and the ease of the new website. We loved having your group and look forward to having you back!
Mt. Columbia was Great!
The Mt. Columbia Chalet was great! We had 8 adults and all slept very comfortably. We could have easily fit two more. The house is conveniently split into two living areas, giving people space to spread out. The living areas and bedrooms were large and comfortable. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs. And the front deck/table would be amazing for summer or a warm winter day. The hot tub was perfect after a long day on the slopes (Monarch is only 15 minutes away). The house is on the highway, but we weren't bothered by the noise. Jillian, our contact, was very responsive to our requests. She even let us check out late so we could ski Sunday & clean up after. (No one was checking in and we gladly paid a fee.) Overall, this was a great place and made for a great weekend!
